After being inspired by Gabi, I decided to try and improve my vectors. Needless to say, they weren't that successful and I'm no where near Gabi, but hey, at least I'm trying! When I finish the one I'm attempting, I'll post it on the site...depending on how this goes. The one below of the lotus position was made by me.

Lately I've been doing Pilates and Yoga intensely and it's been so beneficial to dance. Hopefully by the end of this summer I'll be able to fully extend my leg in my scorpion, which will basically look like I'm standing on one leg while holding my leg behind me. Basically I'll be doing a split while standing on one leg. Yeah, I know that was a really bad description. Anyways, pilates and yoga are just so relaxing. Afterwards, I always feel so good! Plus, it's helping my groin which I injured earlier this summer.

Tonight's the concert! I'll post pictures tomorrow along with a few pics of what I got at my shopping trip! The new layout is coming along....kind of. Working on it.

cheers for now

I really loved reading the comments from the last blog! Even those that preferred Twilight to Harry Potter left a good comment. Thanks guys (: Saturday I went shopping and it was absolutely fantastic! I got two shirts and the cutest tote from J Crew and this really cute top from Nordstroms, all it's missing is the perfect pair of shoes to go with it and the jeans I have that go well with it. I hadn't gone legit shopping in so long, it was fun. I think I'm going back this weekend. I'll most definitely go back to J Crew and GAP I love them both so much! Sometimes I wish Modcloth wasn't just an online store, but then I remember that it wouldn't be as unique if it was! Also this Friday I'm going to see Jason Aldean in concert and I am so excited! For those of you who don't know who that is, he's a country singer. Two of my friends and I are buying tickets to see MGMT the second week of August. I'm looking forward to it! Then to top it all off, I'm going to Sundays in the Country mid September with two other friends.

New layout! I hope you all like it! It took me forever to code because wordpress hates me, so right now I'm using fanupdate while I work on this new layout for the site I absolutely lovee; then I'll go back to wordpress when that layout is complete. Anyways, so every summer I'm really cool and I reread the Harry Potter series, plus all the extra books I have that relate to the series. These include Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Quidditch Through the Ages, and The Tales of Beedle the Bard. Well, today I was watching Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and I realized why I don't like the Twilight movies. The books were okay until the last one, but even then the books never gave me the same feeling Harry Potter did the characters only went so far in my head, and when the last book came out I waited like a week before I got it, because I wasn't totally dieing to read what happens next. Stephanie Myers created characters and a semi-epic romance with Bella and Robert, but to me, J.K. Rowling created an entire world ya know? You learned how wizards and witches are educated, muggle-wizard relations, the sports, the creatures, the government, the wand itself, etc. Before Harry Potter, I wasn't the biggest reader. Then, in fifth grade I went home and read the fifth book and then read the entire series. Now, reading is an obsession. Sometimes, when I get punished, my books get taken away. The Point, I owe a lot to JK Rowling and decided a blog was the least I could do. So here's to you, J.K. Rowling.
