Get over it or get out

This is going to sound really harsh, but I honestly don’t care. If you’re in the United States of America, and you’re a legal citizen, then you need to realize that the US flag is your flag. I just heard this story on the Fox News Channel about this guy that liked to hang American flags out of his car, but the school security told him to take them down because they made some people, that immigrated from different countries, feel uncomfortable. If you immigrate to America, you’re an American citizen, therefore, you need to either realize that the American flag is now your flag, or suck it up and don’t express your “uncomfortable feelings” about a flag! Last year, there was this story about these people that put flags on their son’s grave because he’d died at war. Makes sense. A few days later, the bank that was near the cemetery took the flags off the grave because it made some of their customers “uncomfortable.” If you’re an American, how does your flag make you uncomfortable! We are Americans, we celebrate Independence Day, sing our National Anthem, and wave our flag. You don’t immigrate to this country disregarding the flag, and I won’t go to yours disregarding the flag! Even if I was just visiting a country, I’m still not going to say I’m “uncomfortable” with their flag hanging. If that was the case I just shouldn’t have visited the country in the first place. GET OVER IT PEOPLE.

cheers for now<3
